This service will enable Air New Zealand Cargo to offer several new destination markets that we do not currently offer, with the most up to-date aircraft. It will open up opportunities for exporters to develop business in several major markets worldwide.

The B744F can accommodate larger/longer pieces than we can currently accept on our freighter services, or passenger services.

The B744F is normally side door loaded but our aircraft can be nose loaded also. Payload is 119 tonne net (with some small restrictions on some sectors due range).

Containers - carries 30 main-deck 96" x 125" pallet base plus the ability to offer 20 foot containers. Lower deck 9 96" x 125" pallets plus 2 LD1 units. Also the bulk-hold has an additional 14.7 cubic metres.

Side door dimensions 134" (340cms) wide, 123" (312cms) high. Lower door dimensions 104" (264cms) wide, 66" (168cms) high.
