Dear Cargo Executive Summit colleague,
An action arising from our Cargo Executive Summit last month Bangkok was to make three new e-freight communications materials available to you (see attached).
(1) e-freight key messages:
A reference document providing a comprehensive set of statements about IATA e-freight you can apply in communication within and beyond your organisation.
www.afif.asn.au/pdf/2009/news/IATAefreightkeymessagesFINAL.pdf
(2) e-freight benefits presentation
A powerpoint summary of the project, with particular emphasis on the specific benefits the supply chain can expect from IATA e-freight. www.afif.asn.au/pdf/2009/news/IATAefreightbenefits.ppt
The presentation goes into detail on lower document processing costs by typical shipper, forwarder, and airline, faster shipment times, inventory savings, reduced customs penalties, increased market share for the airfreight industry versus sea freight, and better security and regulatory compliance.
Please feel free to apply this presentation to make the case for IATA e-freight to your fellow stakeholders.
(3) e-freight " What you need to know"
A brief, four-page pdf brochure that summarises the project for someone who's not familiar with IATA e-freight. The brochure also includes quotes from the air cargo supply chain. www.afif.asn.au/pdf/2009/news/IATAefreightWhatyouneedtoknow.pdf
As a leader in the air cargo industry, these materials are for you to communicate benefits of e-freight to the air cargo supply chain:
Please feel free to distribute / apply as needed in your communication to your supply chain stakeholders.
Any questions or queries about this information, including how we can make it better, please do let me know.
Regards
