Fair Work Legislation: changes to the Industry Award and effects |

As you may be aware, as part of the Fair Work Act 2009, the Government commenced a process to modernise and rationalise industry awards. As a result and despite submissions from our industry sector, including AFIF, our existing award the Clerical and Administrative Staff (International Freight Forwarding and Customs Clearing) Industry Award 2003, will disappear
and we will be included under the Clerks - Private Sector Award 2010. AFIF has taken advice to prepare the attached Fair Work Briefing Paper, which aims to set out information that Employers in our industry need to know. Please click here to view the Briefing Paper.
