Port Botany - Truck Queuing Monitoring Survey

Please refer to the notice below from Sydney Ports advising of a truck queuing monitoring survey commencing Monday, 24th November at Port Botany.

"Sydney Ports would like to advise that a truck queuing monitoring survey for the container terminals will be undertaken at Port Botany from Monday, 24 November 2008 to Wednesday, 24 December 2008. The surveys will be undertaken on weekdays between 7:00am and 3:00pm each day. Traffic surveyors from TTM Consulting (NSW) Pty Ltd will be located on Simblist Road (near the DP World queuing area), Friendship Road (outside DP World truck gate), Penrhyn Road (outside Patrick truck gates) and also travelling by vehicle between the container terminals.

The information collated with the survey will be used in conjunction with data from industry to provide a daily report on landside performance for the remainder of the peak season. These reports will be distributed from mid next week.

Sydney Ports would like to acknowledge the support of industry representatives in undertaking this exercise.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries or require additional information."
