Workshops planned to discuss 'IPART Reforming Port Botany's links with inland transport'

Following the release of the NSW Government Independent Pricing and Review Tribunal (IPART) report into reforming Port Botany’s links with inland transport, the NSW Freight Council Sea Division has arranged to host two interactive 'hypothetical' style workshops (Paramatta and Botany) to help industry understand the findings and the recommendations. Details of the two workshops appear on our website and can be found at the following link:

AFIF will be represented on the industry panel.

The outcomes of the report and the response eventually adopted by the State Government will interest everyone in the sea transport chain, both import and export. Some of the recommendations are fairly radical and may have knock-on ramifications if adopted. We highly recommend your attendance at these sessions, so that in addition to greater understanding you may be able to contribute to change.
